Is it possible to use the Fortress client as the source control provider in VS 2003? How is this done?
We have a legacy application that did not port well to VS 2005 and the decision was made that we would keep a build box configured to edit the application in VS 2003. However, we would like to continue using good source control on it.
Fortress in VS 2003?

Re: Fortress in VS 2003?
If the project is already in Fortress and bound, then what you can do it unbind it, save it to disk that way, do what ever you need to do to it to make it a VS 2003 project, then rebind it back to Fortres and check in any changes it says is needed. To find the window where you'll bind the project, go to File - Source Control - Change Source Control.
If you're not needing to do any changing, then just set Fortress as the default SCC provider (in Fortress Tools - Options - General), and then you can select that as your SCC provider in your VS 2003 options.
