How to determine is folder cloaked or not (via CL client)?

Post by Alexander Sviridov » Thu Jul 17, 2008 5:00 am

Hello,

Are there any ways to determine the state of the folder (cloacked or not cloaked) by using the Vault's command line client?

Thanks in advance.

I've reviewed the documentation, and you can cloak and uncloak, but I don't see a way to determine if a file is already cloaked.

Could you tell me more about why you need this?

I need to use wildcards for some operations. In order to implement this functionality I get the file list at first (by using LISTFOLDER command) and after I run corresponding commands for each file which matches the mask. If I run some command for cloaked file it will be executed but I do not want to perform operation on cloaked files.

I need to get a folder state in order to exclude cloaked files because not all vault clients support working with wildcards for all operations I need.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I'll log a feature request for this functionality.

Unfortunally, I have not found any way to work with wildcards so that exclude of cloaked files from process.
