Problems with VS2008 plugin

Hi all,

I can't decide if this is a bug, or if i'm doing something stupid.
I have VS2008 installed, as well as SOS 4.2... The OS is XP.

I open VS, go to the options menu, then click Source Control, and change it to SourceOffSite.

However, when i then go to open a project, it switches back to Microsoft Visual Sourcesafe.

What's going on? I can use the client without any problems... It's just the plugin that's causing headaches.
