I'm using IIS5 on Win2000 server, Vault version 4.1.2.
In the admin tool if I click on the Shadow Folders link it says "The Vault server could not reach the Shadow Folder Service." When I copy the url of the web service into a browser the list of VaultShadowFolderService.asmx operations appears OK. If I click on TestServerConnection and click Invoke then I get "System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: VaultServiceAPILib.VaultSoapException: 1000 : FailNotValidLogin".
Any ideas? SHould Anonymous login be checked for the vaultshadowfolder web? Should Identity Impersonate be true in the web.config? Also I notice in the app settings a username and encrypted password - can they be tested? Thanks
Can't get Shadow folders to work

All the other parts work and it's only the shadow folder service with the problem, right?
Do you have the following path: C:\Program Files\SourceGear\Vault Shadow Folder Cache? If not, could you make that path and try again?

Yes.SHould Anonymous login be checked for the vaultshadowfolder web?
Only if you chose the Custom IIS process model during install. You can check the web.config in the vaultservice virtual directory and see if impersonate is turned on there.Should Identity Impersonate be true in the web.config?
