Okay, this is a major problem for me at the moment.
Im trying to update to the newest version of Valut Client (VaultClient_4_1_2_18185).
When i try to install it, it prompts me with an strange error "Error 1327. Invalid Drive L:\". This message comes twice, and then the setup program ends telling me that the client wasnt installed.
Next i try to uninstall the old version of the client(thought this might help). but it comes with the same error!!!
In my computer setup, i dont even have en L:\ drive, i might have had one when i installed the early version of vault, but this is a long time ago, and i know that vault want installed on the L:\ drive.
Anyone knows how to get past this? it seems to be some error in the uninstall script from Vault, but i cant quite figure it out.
Error 1327. Invalid Drive

Since this is the client, and you're going to immediately install the next version, I'd suggest using the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 to uninstall and then run the new installer.

Okay, this problem ended up beeing a windows problem
The problem was triggered by the windows folde "My Documents" had been removed(used to be on the L:\ drive), and when the drive was removed, the refrences hadnt been updated.
While uninstalling SourceGear Vault, the system for some reason needed to access this folder, and this made the error. Ive been editing the registry, to get the "My Documents" folder pointed at a valid folder, and then the uninstall/install process worked with no problems.
It seems to more a Windows problem than a SourceGear problem, but you shuold be aware that this could happen, if no "My Documents" folder has been specified, or if its wrongly specified.
