Need to move Vault 3.5.3 database from one SQL server (2000) to another (2005). Doesn't seem to be any info on this anywhere, doc or forums.

I did this some time ago. In my case, I was moving to a new physical server, upgrading from SQL 2000 to 2005, and upgrading my version of Vault. All I had to do was to do a "backup" of the two vault databases on the old server (from SQL 2000 enterprise manager), and then do a "restore" of those databases on the new server. Then, when I installed Vault on the new server, it saw the databases and asked me if I wanted to use them.

Heh, didn't think of that. Of course that would work. (My Vault application is on a separate machine from the database). OTOH, seems like you ought to be able to reconfigure the existing installation. Where would I be without VMWare? Oh well. Thanks!
