The issue is related to the case when a file is being added to a folder in repository.
To add it one may do the following:
1) select the file (which is seen as ghost yet);
2) right-click on it and select "Add this File" menu item.
Quite frequently, the file doesn't change its status, at least visually. I .e., it remains being shown as ghost. Moreover, the menu item "Add this File" remains active for it. Nevertheless, the attempt to add this file once more fails with an error.
The only way to know the real status of the file (files) just added is to select another folder and then return back to this one (F5 does not help).
This issue is also applicable to the case when multiple files are added to a folder.
Add file to repository folder (a bug here)
Moderator: SourceGear
The latest one: 4.1.2.18185.
Steps to reproduce:
1) start Vault client (if was started, then exit and run it again)
2) select a repository folder with at least one ghost file seen
3) select ghost file
2) right-click -> "Add this File"
After the transaction successfully finished the file just added remains shown as ghost and its right-click menu remains the same: "Add this File" and "Edit ...". If I select another folder in repository and then return to this one, the new file becomes shown correctly (not as ghost) and its right-click menu is also correct.
Just checked it on two machines.
