Server won't start, in Windows 2000 server.

Is windows 2000 server sp4 supported as an OS?
I'm using sourceoffsite professional 4.0.2/

I've just downloaded your software to try and cannot start the server.
It keeps failing with the following error in the application log.

Service cannot be started. System.Exception: Error starting the 'SOS 4' server. Please check the server log for more details.
at ClassicService.ClassicService.OnStart(String[] args)
at System.ServiceProcess.ServiceBase.ServiceQueuedMainCallback(Object state)

Any ideas?

What does the SOS Server log say? It's the log.txt file in the SOS Server directory.

Thanks for the reply, here is the log. It appears not to be finding/liking my database.

Why the double backslashes?

I also have spaces in the path. Can the server cope with this ok?

Should I have visual source safe running?
