History Explorer: problem with viewing item comment

In History Explorer there's no way of seeing the whole text of verbose comments which do not fit into the "Comment" column width.

The text cannot be seen by selecting the "Details ..." menu item: it is disabled for list items carrying non-empty comment. Why?
I believe, seeing the details should be allowed for all history list items, both commented and not.
The tooltip window (which I guess shows the whole comment) might be helpful, but it disappears immediately after being shown, again giving no chance to read the text.

I see what you mean. There's a difference on how a change set comment and just an item comment are dealt with. A change set comment should show up in the center of the details window that pops up when one double-clicks an item in history, but the item comments are still in smaller text areas. You can read those by clicking Edit Item Comment, and they are more easily viewable in the web client.

I can put in a feature request to make this more intuitive and easier to read.

Specifically, I mean the following.
For the case when a history list item action is "Labeled ...", the user may have no way to see the whole text of the comment if the comment text does not fit into "Comment" column (it may happen when the comment is quite verbose and/or it's a multi-line text, for instance).
The simplest way out for this case might be just to make available the option of showing the whole comment in "Details" window. Currently, this option is unavailable for items where action is "Labeled ...". That's why I suggested, as a solution, to make menu item "Details ..." be always available, for any type of action.

P.S.
Also, a bug with tooltip window (which shows the comment text for history item) apparently needs to be fixed in Vault: this tooltip window always disappears immediately after it is shown - so its text cannot be read.
