Unable to Get Latest on "Missing" file.

Post by dduvarney » Wed Apr 23, 2008 2:19 pm

I am attempting to get latest from a specific folder. There are about 20 files within the folder. When I get latest on the entire folder, 4 files do not download. I cannot make out the entire message at the bottom of my status window, but it starts with "Unable to open file:...".

I have attempted to delete the entire folder from my working directory and then get latest again. Same result.

I have also attempted to get latest on the individual file, with the same result.

I also attempted to restart SOS server with no luck.

It could be related to an older VSS Automation component. Can you report back what SOS is configured to use?

See How to determine the version of the VSS automation component for more information.

Also, if you run VSS' analyze, does it report any errors?

FWIW, I've seen in a few instances where upgrading to VSS 2005 w/ Update resolved the problem with GETs - (http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic ... 0&start=30)
