Has anyone been sucessful using the PL SQL Developer VCS tool with Vault? It works with Sourcesafe but I get a "Object Reference not set to an instance of an object" Error.
We had one user report that integration with PL/SQL Developer worked for a while, but then they got the "object reference . . ." error. It's possible that some operations worked for this user, but not the full range of operations.
Vault only supports IDE integration with Visual Basic, C++ and VS.NET. We have not tested integration with PL/SQL Developer. While other IDEs may use the same integration .dll, the integration is implemented differently in each IDE.
However, the "object reference" error could be caused by other client-side issues. Corruption of the client side cache files can cause this error message. Deleting the cache files might help -- but the error could also occur again.
