IIS 32-bit requirement

Post by LTG1 » Fri Mar 21, 2008 7:58 am

I considering a vault purchase and have question about the knowledge base article on x64 servers.

From what I understand Fortress can be install on Windows 2003 Server 64-bit running under "32-bit" mode.

The question is, does that mean all other IIS applications have to be in 32-bit mode?

I ask this because I've seen it with other products, for example .NET does not allow managed apps to run under 64-bit IIS and 32-bit IIS at the same time.

If I can keep all other IIS apps on the sever 64-bit except Fortress, then no big deal.

thanks,
ltg

Are your other applications using the 1.1, 2.0, or 3.x .NET framework?
