Is there anyway to share files across two different repositories? It looks like the answer is no. If not, how do users accomplish this task?
We have a couple of teams that share parts of projects (base classes, utility code, etc) but for the most part, they work on different projects. We don't want them messing with our stuff and they don't want us messing with theirs. I think about creating a common repository and then copying common code back to our respective repositories but this seems like a lot of work. A different option would be to set up Folder Security but that too seems like a lot of maintenance.
Thoughts? Thanks,
Sharing files across repositories

Quick followup: What are the pros / cons of using folder level security? It looks like this might solve our issues but at what cost?
In general, is it better to use separate repositories or use folders with different security? We have about 8 teams currently each setup with their own repositories but would that be better implemented using a single repository with folder security? We are just getting started so we can make changes at this point without any ramifications.
