Shared and pinned bug

Using 4.0.1 server and clients.

If you have a shared and pinned project hierarchy and a user has a file checked out in the unpinned share, the pinned share appears unpinned in the file list.

What version of VSS is installed on the SOS Server machine? I'm specifically interested in the version of the ssapi.dll file in the VSS Win32 directory so that we can try to replicate this in-house.

We've found that the Pin function may or may not work properly, depending on your VSS version. This could be due to a bug in the SourceSafe automation component.

ssapi.dll is 6.0.93.50

We were able to reproduce this, and it appears to be a bug. Once the file is checked back in, the pin comes back.

I'll log it to our bug database for fixing in our next release.
