Support for Windows Server 2008 on x64?

The installation seems to complete successfully... but I assume that there are some issues with the configuration settings of the web app, service, and the app pool that aren't handled correctly (for Longhorn) by the installer. I receive generic service errors and I'm not sure if the failure is related to the 64bit issue of IIS7 or something else.

We don't support Windows 2008 yet, but what might help here is to check out our article on Installing on 64-bit systems. Vault needs IIS to run in 32-bit mode and it needs IIS6 compatibility mode.
