4.0.6 to 4.1.0 upgrade issue

Just an FYI: Running Vault in the single license mode on my desktop (both client and server). Running XP with SQL 2005 (Dev Edition). Using only VS2008.

I had 4.0.6 and attempted to install the 4.1.0 server. Was asked to locate the 4.0.6 MSI which I did and then received error code 2753. (I believe during the uninstall of 4.0.6 but I cannot be sure.)

Product: SourceGear Vault Server -- The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2753. The arguments are: CustomActionExe.exe.

On a hunch, I uninstalled the 4.0.6 client which had been installed during a separate install and reran the server install. It completed without issue. I then installed the 4.1.0 client which also installed without issue. All seems fine.

Thanks for the info. There's a known issue that causes a problem when uninstalling Vault 4.0.6 if the server and client were installed at the same time. We haven't run into this issue before.
