Losing linefeeds on item comments

Title says it all really.

If you add item comments with linefeeds in the text they are all removed when the data is saved.

I appreciate it's not a major bug, but when making a number of changes to a file as part of a single fix, it's nice to be able to separate the comments out with whitespace.

Where would you want the comments displayed with line feeds -- in the file history, file details?

If there were multiple lines per comment, then the history table would have uneven rows.

No, just in the popup box you get when you, for example, go to Show History and click on "Edit Item Comment"

We have a bug logged for this; I'll add your post to the bug comments. We don't have a timeframe for when this might be fixed.
