Adding a Solution to a specific Repository

Post by Guest » Fri May 28, 2004 8:30 am

hi all,
I'm missing something basic here. I'm trying to clean up some of my vault stuff, so I created a new Repository, called IPM.

Now, I have a new solution, with 3 projects, that I want to add to the repository.

So, in VS.NET, I right-click the IPM solution, and select "Add Solution to Source Control."

However, it shows a different repository. How do I change repositories, so my IPM solution is listed under my IPM Repository?

Do you need anything else from me to help answer this question?

Thanks,
Dave

Are you using logon profiles? If so you are automatically being connected to a particular repository in your profile. Uncheck any "automatically connect" items in the logon and profile dialogs. Then when the IDE connects to Vault you should get a list of your repositories.

Thanks Linda!

Where do I find these profile boxes? On your Vault Admin/Client tool? or somewhere in VS.NET?

I just realized something. VS.NET is automatically connecting to my Vault server, and never letting me specify my logon credentials.

How do I get that logon box back?

Thanks,
Dave
