I did a Get Latest from home during which a time out occurred (error message was 'An error occurred reading from the download stream ("The operation has timed out."), retrying...').
After that the progress bar sat at 100% and the system went into a loop getting the same files over and over again until I aborted the process. Checking the messages revealed that files had been retrieved at least 11 times before I stopped it.
I am running Fortress 1.0.6.15954
Problem after Get Latest timeout
Moderator: SourceGear
It's possible the server attempted to fetch the file, but didn't actually succeed, and kept trying. Eleven times does seem like a bit much, however.
Is this reproducible? Do you continue to experience this on other gets?
If so, we'd like to see a copy of the log file that shows this behavior.
You can email it as an attachment to support at sourcegear.com, attn: Linda.

After I aborted the process I redid the Get Latest and that succeeded without any problems.
Unfortunately the only way it could be reproduced would be for the operation to timeout again and that I cannot force to happen (AFAIK).
I very seldom use Fortress from home but will turn on logging just in case it does happen again at a later stage.
