Can not access Vault after the install

Can not access Vault after the install

I downloaded and installed the Vault on a Windows 2003 server with SQL Server 2005 Developers edition. I used all of the defaults during the install. The only change that I made was move the databases out of the C;Program Files default install directory to other disk drives via a detrach/attach process. I then attempted to start the Web Admin Client. I received the following error:

SERVER ERROR '/VALUTSERVICE/ APPLICATON
Configuration Error
Access to file path c:\inetpub\wwwroot\web.confg access denied.

I can not proceed.

Any suggestions

Is Sharepoint on the same machine as the Vault Server?

Sharepoint can interfere with Vault operation:

Thank you for the response. However, Sharepoint is not installed that I am aware of. This is a fresh WS2003.

Make sure the account used by Vault has access to the Vault Service directory and the Vault web.config file.
