VS 2008 Branch Checkout Error
So I just recently started using VS 2008. I'm having problems checking out a branch that I created. It works fine in VS 2005, but for some reason it errors out in VS 2008 saying that I need to check my source control bindings. I can check out the original item but not the stuff branched from it. I know that VS 2008 is really new. Any suggestions?
Could you provide steps to reproduce the error?
After you branched the project, did you open the branch from source control or did you do a Get with the Vault GUI client and then open the solution from disk?
Are you using the VSIP (VS 2005) or the MSSCCI (VS 2003) integration client?

I figured it out
I found out what was happening. I was trying to download the code from the branch into the same folder that was set as the working directory for the folder the branch came from. The error in Visual Studio isn't very helpful to figure that out. I'm using Vault 4.0.5
