Can you check on the version of your VSS automation component?

If that also ends in 31222, would you be willing to try another automation component? The automation component of 6.0.98.48 is a good one, and I have 6.0.96.4 available that is also pretty good.
Make sure you have a copy of anything you overwrite.

I downloaded another version of this dll from your website
Version:6.0.96.4
Restarted SOS-Server
Restarted Client

I tried again to compare to files. But I still have the same problem

Could it be, that the problem has to do with, when the file has many history entries?.
I wouldn't expect that to be a problem. What is the size of the file like?

We may have to take this off line so I can dig further into this. If you wish, send an email to support at sourcegear dot com (attn: Beth) with a link to this forum thread. Also, please zip up your SOS server log and send that along.
