Buy new licenses for 3.5?

Hi there,

We have Vault 3.5 installed, and we're unable to upgrade to Vault 4 for another few months due to time constraints. We've added a new member to the team, and we need to get an extra license for him so he can get at our source control stuff. If I buy a vault 4.0 license, will that work properly with our current vault 3.5 setup? If not, how can I go about getting a license for him to use with 3.5?

Vault 4.0 licenses will work in Vault 3.5.

Great. I have another question about maintenance - it'd be most convenient if all our license maintenance times ended at the same time. If I don't buy maintenance on the new license now, then buy it for all 3 licenses in a couple of months when we upgrade to vault 4.0, will that cause problems for us in any way?

Our new store, the Customer Service Portal, is able to prorate maintenance. Customers can now see their purchase history as well.
