Check out from IDE shows red exclamation?

Hi,

when we check out files using the IDE the checked out file is displayed with the check and a red exclamation. What does the red exclamation mean?

The red exclamation is Visual Studio's icon that means it is checked out exclusively (so no one else can check it out at the same time as you).
