I know that, on paper, I shouldn't encounter any problems if I put the .Net v3.0 SDK on my machine, but in practice am I likely to encounter any issues, especially as the server will still be running with v2.0?

I'm not from Sourcegear, but note that .NET 3 uses the same runtime as .NET 2 (it basically just adds the WF, WPF, WCF and CardSpace libraries). Therefore, you should not encounter any trouble.

Thanks avonwyss, I know that that's the theory, but I wanted to have it from the horse's mouth, so to speak. I assume that they have tested this.

Well, if it helps, in our company we have the 3 SDK on most XP machines bot no on the server where Vault resides. We didn't have any problems related to that configuration.
