I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this problem.
I select a file and copy the name (excluding the extension). I select the "FILE" menu to create a new folder (intending to copy the file name copied/saved). If I do the repeatedly the menu option for DiffMerge is added repeatedly to the menu. I can replicate the problem rather easily.
Anyone else seen this problem?
David
P.S. I've attached a *.jpg* images which shows the problem. dfs

I'm sorry I failed to report that information. No, XPPro/SP2 + all updates since SP2 was released. [Pentium4, 2.6Ghz, 1Gb Ram, 80Gb hd with 40GB free]
To replicate:
1. Create any type of file. After it is created select the file and copy only the name (up to the period before the extension.
2. Select the "File" option on the directory which holds the file and create a folder (note if DiffMerge on that menu) and copy the file name (Ctrl-C) into the name space of the new folder after it is created and when it prompts for a new directory name.
3. Create another folder and repeat copying the name and add any charatcer to avoid the "name already exists" message.
4. Repeat two or three times and the number of DiffMerge menu items should increase each time a new folder is created.
Hope this is sufficient.
