Does Client 4.2 work with Server 4.02

I currently have version 4.02 and we just added a MAC to our office. Can I download client 4.2 for the MAC and will it work?

Also is the upgrade from 4.02 to 4.2 free? I would like to upgrade but not today.

The supported clients for SOS 4.2 are SOS 4.1.2 and SOS 4.2 clients.

Is there a reason you don't just want to use the SOS 4.2 Mac client?

There's no cost to upgrade from any version of 4.x to the next higher 4.x version.

I'm confused can I use Client 4.2 with Server 4.0.2? I will upgrade to 4.2 but I would like to do it another day.

Sorry, I wasn't clear on what SOS Server version you had. If your server is 4.0.2, then you should use the 4.0.2 client for best results. The 4.1.2 will probably work as well, though we haven't fully tested it.
