Reporting services projects have discrepencies

Post by bowlermonk » Thu Oct 11, 2007 2:19 pm

We recently added a few SQL Server Reporting Services projects to an existing .NET solution. We did not have any issues until we branched. Now, when we try to open the previous branch, we receive the following message for each SSRS project:

There appears to be a discrepancy between the solution's source control information about some project(s) and the information in the project file(s).

To resolve this discrepancy it will be necessary to check out the project file(s) and update them. If the check out fails, however, and the solution is closed without saving, you will see this warning again the next time you open the solution.

The current branch opens with no issues. We have branched a few times, and each time, the previous release causes issues, where the current release works fine. Is there a setting we missed?

What version of Vault are you using?

If you are using Vault 4.0.x, what integration plugin?

We are using version 3.5.2 of vault. In case it matters, we are using Visual Studio 2005 (.NET 2.0) and Reporting Services 2005.

Can you send an email to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth) with a link to this forum thread? I think this one will need to be looked at a little closer.
