You can connect to Vault remotely with the Vault GUI. Some people do this over a VPN, and some have a public IP address for their Vault server to connect to.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by having a checkin or checkout done remotely. Do you mean the Vault client is on the remote machine, or you just need to get the files to that remote machine's disk? Can you explain further?

Checkin Checkout
yes, I mean to say that I have a Remote Server and on that there are files which I need to checked out and perform some updates to file and then checkin.
This I can do locally(on local eviornment) but suppose someone is onsite and want to have access to this file then can he perform checkout and checkin from there.
Thanks

Yes. The Vault client can connect to it's server remotely and check out a file. The file would then go to that client's disk drive for being edited. (This is what you're wanting, right?)
You can either set up the Vault website in IIS to be available in the same fashion that website is with either a public IP assigned to the website, or by having a public IP that is forwarded to that server, or you can connect via a VPN and use it in the same fashion as if you weren't remote.
