Client API Code examples

Where would I find code examples on how to do some basic development for the 3.5.2 Client API? I'm trying to write a small app that would let me checkout a few files, change them, and then check them back in. The only code example I found was for 4.0.4, but the VaultClientIntegrationLib.dll isn't included with the 3.5.2 release.

Any suggestions?
