Some properties of the solution cannot be read

I'm getting this error on starting my VS2005 Web Site project. I wasn't getting it before adding the project to vault.

This is with v4.0.4

Can you tell me if you are using VSIP (VS 2005 client) or MCSCCI (VS 2003 compatible client) as the SCC providing in Visual Studio? That would be under Tools - Optsions - Source Code Control.

I hadn't seen this error yet with Vault, so I'll have more questions.

When you added that website to Vault, did you make sure the .sln was located above the website folder? VS 2005 typically places the .sln for a website off somewhere else in it's own directory. VSIP with Vault 4.0.4 needs that .sln to be immediately above the website on disk before it's added to Vault.

This could also be related to an issue Microsoft had posted with the MCSCCI client as well: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/841707.

Had anything been moved or changed recently?

What also might be helpful here is to get a solution file and a client log. You'll need to turn on logging first: Client Side Logging. You can either post those here or zip them up and send them to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth) with a link to this thread.
