How to recover/reset admin password?

Admin pwd got lost - how do we recover/reset it?

The Admin password can't be recovered. What is recommended is for you to do an uninstall and reinstall of the Vault server (keeping the Vault database), and during that you will set the Admin password again. Make sure you have a current database backup ready just in case you remove your database. When Vault asks, you will tell it to keep the database.
