Cannot uninstall Vault Client 4.0.4

I installed Vault Client 4.0.4 which cannot connect to Vault Server 3.5 (Version 3.5.2.5087). The error message is "The server uses a protocol that is not supported by this client".

Should I uninstall 4.0.4 Client and revert to Vault Client 3.5? I cannot uninstall the 4.0.4 Client and get Error 1721.

I installed DiffMerge 3.1 Beta. I thought it causes the problem. But after uninstalling it, I still cannot remove Vault Client 4.0.4.

After digging this forum, I just find that Vault Client 3.5 can be installed side by side which makes me possible to connect to the server.

But I still want to know how to uninstall Vault Client 4.0.4 if possible.

I find that I cannot connect to Vault Server 3.5.2 with Vault Client 4.0.4, but I cannot find any tip about in this KB article,

Vault 4.x and Vault 3.x client and servers are not compatible.

You could try reinstalling and then uninstalling Vault 4.X client.

If that doesn't work, then you may need to remove registry entries that refer to the Vault client.
