I am having difficulty installing the Vault 4.0.4.15848 server on Vista Ultimate x64. I followed a couple threads which led me to run the MSI from command prompt as an administrator. Everything seems to be installing fine until it creates the VaultService virtual directory, at which point it freezes. It doesn't give any warnings or errors and I have to close the CustomActionExe.exe proccess in order to abort the install.
I have attached an image of where it is freezing.
Help, please!
Thanks,

Sorry, Vault Server 4.0.x is not yet supported on Vista x64. We have not been able to get the installation to work properly. Vault 3.5.2 is supported on 64-bit Vista, if IIS is in 32-bit mode:

The Vault 4.x client works just fine.martillodecampo wrote:How about the Vault 4.x Client on 64-bit Vista?
FWIW, the problem is Vault 4.x requires the 32-bit ASP.NET Framework to run correctly. However, there seems to be some kind of problem getting 64-bit Vista to run IIS in 32-bit compatibility mode. Note, 64-bit XP Pro does not have this problem, and can run the Vault server correctly.
