Vault 1.1.2 Backup Database Error

I just tried to use Backup Database in Vault 1.1.2. After a minute or two of waiting, I get the following error:

1104: FailDBReader

I tried using 09_11_2007_Vault_Backup with and without the .sgvbak extension and got the error twice. What can I do to resolve this issue? If I cannot backup 1.1.2, I will not be able to safely progress to a newer version.

Since you're on a fairly old version, this could be difficult to troubleshoot. I'd suggest doing the backup directly from SQL Server. The database is sgvault.
