Shadow Folder Service
In the admin tool when logged in as admin , the Shadow Folder service page is stating
The Shadow Folder Service was unable to connect to the Vault server. Please enter the login to be used by the Shadow Folder Service.
So I entered the admin password again but still get the same message.
I read the help files on what the Shadow Folder service is but I am still not sure of the benefit of it, but I would still like to get it to work.

What version of Vault are you using?
Do you know what account Vault is running under? If not, find the vault_install.log. That could be located in C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp (hidden folder) on the Vault Server. You can then either look in it for the user in the IIS process model or post the log here or email it to support at soucegear.com (attn: Beth) with a link to this post.

It's going to be a few weeks yet. I don't have an exact date. You might want to look at the downloads again in 2-3 weeks. If you are interested in trying out a pre-release build, then send an email to support at sourcegear.com and include a link to the forum post that has your issue. You can send that attn: Beth if you wish.
