"An item with the same key has already been added."

I just got everything installed, loaded up Visual Studio 2005, tried to Add a Solution to Vault, and got this error message:

An item with the same key has already been added.

I left visual studio, loaded up the Vault client, was successfully able to add the files by themselves, went back into VS2005, tried Open From Vault, and the project opened but not under source control. I tried to Bind, and got the same error message.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry you're having trouble. Would you be willing to turn on logging and send us a log file that includes this error? You can send it to ian at sourcegear dot com.

Hi,

We are evaluating Vault at the moment and have the same problem when I try to bind a project into Vault (this project has been migrated into Vault from VSS).

I am using version 4.0.0.4.

Have you found the cause of this problem?

We have found a bug where solutions having more than one Business Intelligence project causes this error, and we're working to resolve it as soon as possible. If this doesn't describe your solution, you log, as described above, would be helpful.

I have one report project and one SSIS project under one solution.

This issue was resolved in Vault 4.0.5/Fortress 1.0.5.
