We are experiencing some odd behavior with vault. We have a binary file that is slightly larger than 1MB. When we select to add the file to a vault repository, an error is returned that the file could not be retrieved from the database. This is a new file. When I look at the log file the error just simply states that a severe error has occurred. The error occurs after the "end transaction" and the check-in is then rolled back. We are on 3.0.7. If we open the file in a hex editor and replace all bytes with null, then the file will check in. We have also discovered another file with the same problem.
Any ideas?

The first step would be to close clients, delete the client-side cache
