Vault 4.0.4 - Show differences not working

I am finding a problem with the show differences from within Visual Studio 2005.

If I make some changes to the local file and save, the indicator is saying that there are changes, and the difference viewer shows these correctly.

However, if someone else makes a change, I am being told that my file is out of date, however when I look at differences (right mouse click on file ..) the display shows identical information.

If I then select to get latest however, the file is updated and shows there are indeed changes to it.

The only way currently for me to see this is to go into the Vault Client, and do the comparison in there

One of the diff options is to compare to the last version retrieved from the repository. This option will only show you changes that you made. If you want to see what's changed since your last Get, you need to use the option to compare to the latest version in the repository. Could this be your problem?
