Folder Security (Vault 3.5.2)

I have a folder that is setup with folder security. When I create a new user, that user received permissions to that folder by default, which is not what I wanted. I assume that the default user rights carried over from the Add User screen to the secured folder.

Is there a setting to prevent new users from automatically receiving rights to secured folders?

No, you need to remove the user's default RCA rights (which removes access to anything not explicity granted) or set a security rights assignment for the user to restrict access to that folder.
