VS 2005 SP1 added functionality???

Vault 3.5.0/Windows Server 2003 R2

I did install the SP1 Visual Studio 2005 service pack because I read that it would include an update to the Source Control menu that would add 'remove from source control' functionality. 3 hours later, after the download and install (which took a hotfix/reboot), that was not the case.
Does anyone know a way to remove a single file from source control?

Okay, I have realized that the option "Exclude Selection From Source Control" only appears in a Web Application which was not available in the original version of VS 2005. Does anyone know the best way to convert my current website or move it into a Web Application Project and make the versions on client computers play nice without too much of a headache?
