We've had to move our Vault installation to a Small Business Server and I'm having problems connecting to the database. I have just tried a clean installation to make sure it's all working OK before moving data across.
Before installation I set up a separate directory "D:\SourceGear Vault Store" (away from wwwroot) for the Vault store & installed to same. Windows Server 2003 SP2 is installed and .Net enabled in IIS. Running SQL Server Express 2005. I have also set up a separate NIC in the Server using a different IP from the other sites in IIS as there is also SharePoint, etc. The error I receive every time I attempt to connect from a client is:
"Unable to connect to http://192.168.210.10/VaultService. No server was found at the specified URL. Please verify your network settings using the Options dialog under the Tools menu in the Vault GUI Client. Web Exception: The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found."
Where to from here? Is there a checklist I can run through? Something major I'm overlooking?
