Does Fortress, also have a standalone version that does not require the user to have Visual Studio installed (2003 or 2005) to Check-in files, and update issue/bug tracking reports?
I have two repositories, one is used by the developers of the website and other misc programing projects, which the integration is fine.
The other repository is used to manage version of legal templates in rich text format, which the users do not have access to visual studio. Their primary editor is word/word perfect, which I don't expect the integration to be ever designed for.

Yes, Fortress has it's own separate client that you don't need VS for. You can download the matching client from your own server at the URL of http://<your fortress server>/VaultService/. About halfway down will be a link to download the client.
You can also download the client from our Fortress download page, but make sure you are grabbing the version that matches your server.
