Splash screen and returned support email.

Is there a way to turn off the splash screens for the client and the admin tool? They are a real pain when using terminal service, as the bitmap has to be downloaded to display.

Also, sent this to support@ and got a bounce from your end.

This is the Postfix program at host harrison.sourcegear.com.

Yes, you can turn it off via directions at http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=12

Thanks for the heads up on the support bounce...

This solution does not seem to turn it off for the admin tool. Any way to do that?

The admin tool is configured in the key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SourceGear\Vault\Admin\Settings

But there is still no way to turn off the splash screen for the admin too, is there? I mean I did look in there when I turned it off the client hoping there would be a ShowSplash setting, but no joy.

No way to turn it off for the admin tool, then eh?

Correct, the admin tool doesn't have a registry setting controlling the splash screen (it is always displayed). I've logged this as a bug to be fixed in future releases.
