Possible bug with solution level checkin

Post by dist0rti0n » Sat Jun 09, 2007 6:29 pm

I noticed that when using the 2005 client, that if you right click the solution, Checkin will be greyed out even though there is at least one file checked out in a project.

Is this a bug?

Note: this only seems to be a problem when the file is automatically checked out because the user starts to edit it. If you right click a file and choose check out, then the solution level checkin lights up.

I haven't been able to reproduce this.

What type of projects are you seeing this with (c#, VB, C++, aspnet, website etc)?

Do you have SP1 of VS2005 installed? The only time we have seen weird menu enabling issues in house is when users don't have SP1 installed.

I've got SP 1 installed, the solution is comprised of a Web Application Project, a WinForms project, a console project and several class libraries.
