Licence not being read ?

Hi

We'd just started evaluating 3.5 last week and have now updated to 4 this morning. However our Eval licence key is not now being seen correctly.

We've tried a new demo key but the licence screen still shows -
Number of full user licenses: 0

The upgrade did fail at the point of connecting to SQL server (our fault - we used the wrong login) Unfortunatly the install rollback left the server in a uninstalled state. Re running the V4 install seemed to work OK except the default web page wouldn't load (It was left as ServerInstall.aspx I believe which isn't now present)

We can log in as Admin OK but can't allow user logins until the licence is sorted.

Please help.

Vault 4.0 has a new license scheme, so you will need to enter a Vault 4.0 demo license in the Vault Admin Web Client at http://vaultserver/VaultService/Admin/Licenses.aspx

email sales at sourcegear.com to get a Vault 4.0 demo license.

Do you mean that the licence key generated from your web site won't work then ?

If it's the license from last week and 3.5, no it won't work.

I tried both last weeks and also a new one I got today :cry:

However I've just removed the old one (it was still in the list) and the new one is now being seen :)
