Adding serial

SOS 3.5.3

We currently have 100 licenses.. Just purhased another 75 (25 x 3).. However, when I go to enter any one of the serial numbers using the "Add" feature, I get an "invalid" serial number error. Am I suppose to do something else besides going to the manager and adding the serial(s)? Could it be defective serials? Please advise.

ps. the email received with the serials says it's for 4.0. Do I have to upgrade?

If you just purchased SourceOffSite, you probably got licenses for version 4.0. These do not work in an SOS 3.5.3 server.

However, you can exchange them for 3.5.3 licenses.
