34 days left on VSS Import status

I am trying to import our fairly large VSS database (3 GB) into Vault. We would like to keep all history and labels. The initial estimate by the import tool said it would take 3 days, which is fine. Now that the import has started, however, it says it has 34 days left. Is that possibly correct?

I have read all the recommendations for simplifying the import, but I would like to spend as little of my time as possible on the import since we are just evaluating at this point.

You will probably want to import it in chunks if you can and import the labels last. See theOptions for VSS Import.
