vault command line crashing and displaying popup

Post by mcintyre321 » Mon Apr 02, 2007 10:18 am

Hi I'm using Vault 3.5.1, running from CruiseControl/NAnt on a Windows 2003 x64 VM. The Vault command line client in CCNET keeps crashing (I think due to an x64 issue with switching between 32 and 64 bit). The problem is, when it crashes it displays a popup requiring user interaction, which then causes the automated CCNET build to freeze until I log on and free them up.

Why is the command line client displaying a popup? How can I disable it?

The popup error is generated when the CLC crashes. This error looks like it's coming from Microsoft Windows, and I don't think it can be disabled.

If there's a problem switching between 64 and 32-bit, then perhaps resolving that will keep the CLC from crashing.

MS are idiots. I had to delete a registry key in order to stop their error reporting freezing my batch processes.

in fact I ended up having to use 32bit windows rather than 64bit.
