Visual Studio 2005 Integration

Post by anuroff » Mon Apr 09, 2007 3:55 pm

Hello,

I have a question about the VS2k5 integration. I notice that the MSSCCI plug-in is installed by default. However, you also ship the VaultPkg.dll (the tighter VSIP integration) library with version 3.5.1. I am unable to find an easy way to enable this integration. How would I go about disabling the MSSCCI DLL and enabling the VSIP integration instead?

Thanks,

you also ship the VaultPkg.dll
That's not the Vault VSIP integration dll. Vault 3.5.1 doesn't support VSIP integration. The VSIP dll is called VaultVsipClient.dll and will be supported Vault 4.0 (due out later this year), and our Fortress product (now in Preview).

You can download Fortress from:

Note: Fortress doesn't interact with Vault, so if you want to try the Fortress client and server, install them on a different machine.
